Scholarships

黑料社区 (RCC) is pleased to offer scholarships to qualified RCC students. Most scholarships are funded through the 黑料社区 Foundation (RCCF), made possible by donations from public and private entities. Some scholarships are offered directly to RCC students by local non-profit organizations and charities.

Many RCC students qualify for scholarships. Unlike federal financial aid, scholarships are available to students regardless of immigration or enrollment status. For example, students in Workforce Development programs are not eligible for federal financial aid but can apply for scholarships.

Merit-Based Scholarship (Closed for 2024-25 Academic Year)

Please note: Merit-based scholarships are closed for the 2024-25 academic year.

Who Can Apply:

Students from all Degree Seeking Majors and non-credit certificate programs
International Students
DACA Students

Before completing the scholarship application, please make sure that you meet the following eligibility requirements:

Current RCC student
Must be registered for classes at 黑料社区 for the upcoming Fall 2024 semester.
Have completed 2024-2025 financial aid application with RCC's Financial Aid office.
3.0 GPA or higher

To complete an application for scholarship:

Fill out the online scholarship application linked above.
Ask faculty member to support your application by filling out the Recommendation Form. A separate email will be sent to all faculty members with the link to the Recommendation Form.
The application has a rolling deadline, but we encourage students to apply early.

Award Amount:

Up to $3,500 total for tuition and fees for the Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 semesters.

Up to 1,500 will be awarded for the Fall semester.
Up to $1,500 will renew in the Spring semester if the student maintains all eligibility requirements.
Up to an additional $500 will be awarded for Summer classes if the student maintains all eligibility requirements.

Need-Based Foundation Scholarship (Closed for 2024-25 Academic Year)
